How we handle your information

This policy covers sommersmarketinggroup.com, run by Sommers Marketing Group in Northport, New York ("we", "us"). It explains what we collect when you visit the site or send us a form, what we do with it, and how to reach us about it.

What you send us through a form

When you fill out the strategy call form or the free audit form, we receive what you type in: your name, email address, and, where you give them, your phone number, website, business name and message.

Along with that, we record a few technical details about the submission: the page you sent it from, the page that referred you there, the date and time, your IP address and your browser's user agent (the line that names your browser and device). We use these to see which pages bring in inquiries and to spot spam.

How we store form submissions

Each submission is emailed to our inbox. A copy is also saved on our own web server, in a private location that cannot be reached from the web and can be read only by our account on that server. We keep this copy so an inquiry is never lost if an email is delayed or filtered as spam, and so we can track where each inquiry stands (for example, whether we have replied).

We keep submissions for as long as we may need them to reply to you, work with you, or keep ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete yours at any time (see "Your choices" below).

How we use it

• To reply to your inquiry, schedule a call, or prepare and send the audit you asked for.
• To follow up about that request.
• To understand which pages and campaigns lead to inquiries, so we can improve the site.

We do not sell your information, rent it, or add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.

Who else handles it

We share information only with the services that run the site and our email: our web hosting provider, our email provider, and Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site. They process it on our behalf. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see how people use the site, including when a form is started or sent and when a phone number or email link is tapped. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and receives details such as the pages you view, your approximate location and your device type. It does not receive what you type into our forms. Cloudflare may also set cookies needed for security.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. Google explains how it uses this data at policies.google.com.

Health information

Many of our clients are healthcare practices. Our forms are for business inquiries only. Please do not send patient names or any patient health information through this site.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information you sent us. Email success@sommersmarketinggroup.com or call 631-496-1600 and we will take care of it.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS, and stored submissions sit outside the public part of the server with access limited to our account. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we collect small and locked down.

Children

This site is for businesses. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
